The position is based in France.

Position Overview :

Get onboard of the PayFit rocket by joining our Product team as a Product Builder. You will join one of the squads of the Payroll Experience product team and be responsible for updating, managing and developing our product for France. The team is composed of 3 squads with, in average, 5 Product Builders per squad.

Like each Product Builder in the department, you will be able to design and implement new features and improvements, thanks to a low-code platform (to know more about low-code, you can check up an article in French here).You will also actively contribute to the on-going technical transformation, by optimizing and revamping our codebase.

Key responsibilities : 

  • To improve the product for our users in France, by driving more autonomy and providing them with guidance ;
  • To update the product according to the evolution of French law ;
  • To manage the product run (i.e. the maintenance on your scope) ;
  • To clean, optimize and revamp your codebase, as well as improving its performances, to contribute to our technical transformation.


You will be responsible for :

  • Understanding the state of the market, our competitors and the company’s objectives ;
  • Understanding your scope and mastering the state of your codebase ;
  • Discovering the problems to fix (context, behavior, needs, objectives) ;
  • Designing the solutions (content, interactions, architecture), by working closely with product designers and engineers ;
  • Developing the solutions with our low-code platform (JetLang) ;
  • Delivering the solutions and monitoring their performance and results.


Qualifications : 

  • You have an engineering background and diploma : bachelor/master degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study ;
  • You have 2 years of experience(s) in programming/coding or 4 years of experience(s) in product management ;
  • You have a good understanding of software fundamentals including data structures, software architecture, and design patterns and show great interest into improving your technical skills
  • You are eager to improve your skills in product development and management ;
  • You are motivated by embracing and contributing to a product and technical transformation;
  • You have excellent problem-solving skills, with both a risk-management and impact-centric approach;
  • You are able to analyze and tackle complex challenges;
  • You demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration abilities, with various stakeholders;
  • You are fluent in French & in English.

Nice to have (but not mandatory)

  • UX design experience ;
  • Entrepreneur or SaaS experience.


Interview process :

1. Interview with a recruiter - 45 min

2. Low code preliminary test offline - 1h

3. Low code exercise with a member of the Product Builder team - 1h25

4. Interview with two of our team managers (60’) - 1h
