As a Business Development & Seller Support Intern, you'll be at the heart of our growth strategy, transforming thousands of potential sellers into thriving Back Market partners. You'll master the art of business prioritization, relationship building, and data-driven decision making while gaining hands-on experience in one of Europe's fastest-growing tech companies.
This isn't just about processing applications – you'll be identifying high-potential business opportunities, strategically prioritizing sellers based on market potential, and directly impacting our marketplace expansion across Europe and the United States.
Strategic Seller Management: Navigate through our extensive database of thousands of potential sellers, qualifying and prioritizing them based on business potential and strategic fit
Business Development: Provide professional consultation and support via Salesforce, guiding sellers through our comprehensive onboarding journey from initial sign-up to successful activation
Data-Driven Prioritization: Leverage Excel and Salesforce to analyze seller profiles, create strategic reports, and identify the most promising business opportunities
Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvement projects, bringing fresh perspectives to enhance our seller activation processes
International Impact: Communicate directly with sellers across Europe and the US, building strong professional relationships that drive business growth
Seeking a 6-month full-time internship (Gap Year or End of Studies welcome)
Fluent English - you'll be the voice of Back Market to international sellers
Excel proficiency including pivot tables and data analysis capabilities
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail - you'll manage high-volume, process-intensive workflows
Passionate about business development/sales with a keen eye for identifying opportunities
Structured approach to work with ability to prioritize effectively in fast-paced environments
Bonus Points:
French language skills
Salesforce experience or CRM familiarity
Previous commercial or e-commerce experience
Proactive mindset with initiative for process improvements
