SiPearl

SiPearl is a private company born of the European Processor Initiative (EPI) consortium project, which aims to bring high-performance, low-power microprocessor technologies back to Europe.

Founded in June 2019, SiPearl has been operational since January 2020, with the hiring of its first employee.

Since the launch of its Series A in April 2023, SiPearl has raised €113 million.

Because they believe that supercomputers are essential to meet strategic scientific, industrial and societal challenges and thus help improve the daily lives of all citizens, SiPearl accepted the challenge of building the high-performance low-power backdoor-free security microprocessor dedicated to supercomputing and AI-inference.

By giving Europe the means for early detection of diseases, to fight climate change more effectively, to produce better quality goods and services, the microprocessors developed by SiPearl will bring important environmental, social and societal benefits.

SiPearl’s progressive approach to sustainable growth includes promoting diversity in recruitment and taking steps to minimize the impact of its activities on the environment (hosting green servers at Ikoula, opening R&D centres close to labor pools, limiting paper consumption).
