Domain: Digital Factory DBF01 – Design Ops
Accor has a strong ambition: to reinvent the travel experience by focusing on personalization and a strong brand identity. Achieving this is the obsession of the Digital Department: a team dedicated to defining and implementing the future of the Accor Product Experience.
Reporting to the Product Design team and under the responsibility of the Head of Design (HOD), you will dive deep into the organization to facilitate, streamline, and optimize design processes.
Your Mission:
Your mission is to establish an organization, tools, and culture that foster design excellence by enabling seamless collaboration between designers, product teams, developers, and other stakeholders. You will place design at the heart of product development processes by improving interactions within the design team and across departments.

And You?
Education: Graduate of a top Engineering or Business School, with a focus on general studies, IT, or a specialized Master’s in Design or Design Ops.
Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with colleagues across various departments.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to present analyses and ideas clearly and convincingly to diverse audiences.
Process Expertise: Solid understanding of design processes, product management, and fundamentals of change management.
Strategic Implementation: Experienced in developing strategies for organizational, process, and tool implementation (e.g., setting up squads, OKRs, and production tracking tools).
Human-Centric Approach: Interested in the people behind the professional roles, committed to having a meaningful impact on designers’ daily work and supporting their skills development.
Workshop Facilitation: Skilled at facilitating workshops with various stakeholders, including operational teams, managers, and top executives.
Deliverable Creation: Able to write and formalize impactful deliverables (e.g., one-pagers, slides).
Tool Mastery: Proficient in collaborative tools such as Figma, Miro, Slack, JIRA, etc.
Experience: At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar role, combining expertise in Design Ops and team management.
Organizational Skills: Known for rigor, with a strong ability to organize and prioritize team tasks effectively.
Empathetic Leadership: Demonstrated leadership marked by empathy, active listening, and a pedagogical approach.
Previous Role: Experience as a Design Ops Manager within a product-focused organization.
Language Skills: Fluent in English, with the ability to present work and communicate effectively in an international context.
Relationship Builder: Capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating cross-departmental collaboration.
Adaptability: Experience supporting both small structures and large organizations, providing a broad understanding of organizational types and challenges inherent to digital transformation.

User-Centered Focus: Product Design-oriented, with particular attention to user experience and the impact of content on that experience.
