JOB DESCRIPTION

To support its development, AFS is creating a position at its London office for a Transaction Service Junior Analyst of the AGENCY PRIVATE DEBT activity to accelerate its growth in the UK.

To be part of the process of building up the team in the UK office, you will be actively involved in the different activities taking place from a Transaction Services point of view as well as providing support in the Business Development side of the business. Therefore, you will also be involved in identifying potential contacts and taking part in prospects meetings and clients’ presentations as well as participating in the drafting of sales’ pitch regarding tender received.

The main missions are:

• Assist the AFS agency team in monitoring transactions, resolving waivers, deal closings,

• Prepare and review financial calculations (coupons, early repayments, conversions, parity etc.),

• Interact with corporates and investors for the legal, financial, and administrative monitoring of capital markets and corporate finance transactions,

• Participate in the refining of the Service proposal for the UK market especially in the Corporate and Issuers Services,

• Actively contribute to the Marketing and Business development of the company Services to UK stakeholders as well as in other European countries,

• Assist and participate in market research, pitching and meetings.

As part of your onboarding, you will be building up your understanding of the type of transactions the company operates on including a significant effort in grasping the content of the financial documentation and the way to analyze it. Such work is the cornerstone to enable you to grow in confidence and autonomy when handling the different requirements to act as a Transaction Services Analyst.

During the course of your mission, you will:

• In the exercise of being involved in AFS role as agent, you ensure the preparation and complete formatting of the documents relating to the project, in particular with their integration into the internal ARTUR PRO ERP tool,

• You work with companies and investors for the legal, financial and administrative monitoring of the projects under your responsibility,

• You will be involved in the calculations relating to your portfolio (coupons, early repayments, etc.) based on the existing in-house calculation models,

• You prepare and participate in meetings with customers or partners,

• You carry out and are responsible for the drafting of notices and other documents relating to the projects under your responsibility – content and form - but also especially on the respect of the elements of the transaction schedule,

• You are a contributor in the update and evolution of ARTUR PRO in functional terms and propose adjustments to make things even more efficient and reliable,

• You actively participate in and manage waivers, general meetings or more generally decisions taken by investors/lenders in the context of the files under your responsibility,

• You will be able to intervene and contribute to more transversal or related projects in terms of research, analysis or meetings to support the development of the company’s offers in the UK including the Capital Market, Infrastructure market and Corporate and Issuer Services,

YOUR PROFILE

• 1 to 4 years minimum experience in the Agency Private Debt with a proven understanding of the UK landscape as well,

• Strong operational knowledge of UK Private Debt markets and their functioning (technical, regulatory and legal),

• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, independent, and hungry to grow in a favorable environment,

• The willingness to take operational control of the development of an activity with all the commercial, marketing and field management challenges within the framework of a strong strategic will,

• Proficient in Office 360,

• Fluent in English, another European language (German, Dutch, Spanish) is a strong plus,

• Good interpersonal skills / likes to work in a team,

• Accountability and sense of customer relationship, autonomy.
