Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Industrial Logistics manager (f/m) to join our based in Dugny Paris Le Bourget, France. You will join the Operations Control team.

Your challenges:

You are looking for a professional challenge and you are attracted by a constantly changing operational environment.

You will manage and challenge physical logistics activities on quality, on time and on cost through integration of all stakeholders (such as Service providers, Quality, Procurement operations, Production) acting in the physical logistics process from unloading of parts to delivery to point of use.

Manages the physical logistics activities :

  • Ensure physical logistics management performance & improvement control in the respect of the standard process.

  • Control KPIs (performance, cost, quality, environment).

  • Ensure application of Airbus Helicopters Logistics solutions, processes, rules & policies in physical logistics activities.

  • Drive issue solving with a quick & simple alert/escalation process.

  • Propose and drive local, not disruptive and short term Improvement Initiatives, share experience & practices via Logistics service managers network.

  • Contribute to End To End Logistics Solutions optimization and Surface optimization.

  • Secure that the standard distributions means are in the right quality and quantity.

  • Contribute to infrastructure evolution and surface management.

  • Assess logistics impacts in case of short and middle term planning changes.

Manages the Logistics Providers (LP) contract compliance and subcontractor activities:

  • Ensure right contract application by the providers and by Airbus Helicopters.

  • Create, challenge, validate operational scope change requests, work specifications, ad-hoc service requests and Claims.

  • Contribute to scope change request within a project.

  • Perform technical negotiation in units price, volumes & forecasts.

  • Supports procurement and operations on contract mechanism implementation and monitoring.

  • Build solid, professional, demanding and collaborative business relationships between Airbus Helicopters Logistics team and the Logistics Providers team.

  • Challenge Logistics Providers on excellence of operational performance, innovative implementable Logistics solutions and customer feedback loops (Voice of customer including measurements and action plan).

Ensure the alignment of logistics operations within the internal stakeholders processes and requirements to secure a logistics performance:

  • Anticipate, understand/challenge internal stakeholders’ requests and ensure implementation of changes in the frame of the End to End Logistics solution in Airbus Helicopters

  • Develop strong and professional business relationships with customers based on facts & figures, transparence on root causes of issues, curative and corrective actions, and improvement roadmap.

Ensure risk management with internal stakeholders and Logistics Provider, perform root cause analysis and manage mitigation plans.

Manages compliance to regulatory and safety obligations:

  • Contribute to corporate audits and industrial maturity.

  • Plan, prepare, run audits in collaboration with quality and implement actions to close findings.

 

Your profile:

  • Educated to a Master degree level (or equivalent) in Logistics or a related discipline.

  • Experience of at least 5 years in logistics.

  • At ease in Contract management and ability to negotiate terms of contract.

  • Fundamentals of logistics and transport.

  • Knowledge in warehouse management Tools such as SAP & EWM would be a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to manage and influence stakeholders.

  • Good flexibility & adaptability to changing assumptions & requirements.

  • Language Skills: negotiation level of English and of French.
