To strengthen our leadership position in the European BNPL market, we are strengthening our operations in Italy, a rapidly growing market, and are looking for a Marketing and Partnership Specialist.

You will be the Marketing and Partnership Specialist in Italy, based in Milan, playing a key role in developing and executing our local strategy. You will have the opportunity to scale and enhance our marketing efforts, with a strong focus on strategic partnership development.


About the mission:

  • Marketing:
    • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (including email marketing, social media, and local events) to boost brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to support lead generation and conversion initiatives through targeted marketing strategies.
    • Work closely with the marketing team in France to develop marketing materials, analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity, and optimize marketing strategies.

  • Partnerships:
    • Assist in identifying potential partners, including agencies, e-commerce platforms, and CMS providers, that align with the target audience and growth objectives of the Italian market.
    • Manage day-to-day partner relationships, ensuring effective and timely communication.
    • Launch dedicated partner initiatives such as events, commission calculations, and compensation plans. You will also be the main point of contact for negotiating commercial agreements.

You will work closely with the central Marketing team (Product Marketing, Growth, Events, Design, etc.), the local General Manager and the Italian sales team to ensure an effective strategy aligned with Alma’s global objectives.

  • Strong negotiation skills: You can build and manage partnerships, define favorable commercial agreements, and develop growth strategies with partners.
  • Good command of marketing tools: While not an expert, you are familiar with key platforms (Google Ads, Photoshop, HubSpot, Salesforce, Figma, Canva, etc.) and eager to learn new ones.
  • Excellent organizational skills: You can manage multiple projects simultaneously and interact with various stakeholders (freelancers, sales team, suppliers, partners, etc.). You are comfortable measuring and reporting KPIs.
  • Humble and hands-on attitude: You recognize your limits, seek support when needed, and are always ready to roll up your sleeves to get things done.

Your Background

  • 1-3 years of experience in B2B marketing.
  • Previous experience or studies in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Native Italian speaker with fluent English (both written and spoken).
