The role
Together with your Sr. HR Ops & Reward Specialist colleague, you will be the main point of contact for our employees and line managers, for different HR inquiries, with focus on labor law topics.
Within this role, you will work in close collaboration with all our employees, the HR Director, the HR Talent Specialist, the colleagues of our Finance department, our corporate HR ops colleagues and the different line managers.
Reporting and updating our various HR systems are daily business, as well as ensuring and monitoring good data quality.
Key activities/responsibilities you will be in charge of:
Payroll
- Manage HR systems and perform configuration activities (e.g. yearly vacation rights, changes in working schemes)
- Monthly processing of changes within eBlox, Oracle HCM and different related tools (such as ServiceNow portal, eBlox HR, benefits statement...)
- Contract management
- Support in payroll preparation and closure (good knowledge and experience in payroll processes is considered a plus)
Reward
- Follow-up of our Amplifon flex income plan in collaboration with SD Worx
- Follow-up of extralegal benefits in collaboration with vendors (e.g. lease bikes) and other departments (IT, Fleet)
- Develop and keep up to date the HR policies to support labor laws (e.g. internal agreements, telework, mobile phone, lease bikes) in collaboration with the HR colleagues
- Contributing to different projects in collaboration with Corporate or Belgium colleagues (e.g. acquisitions, legal cases, internal communication, interfaces)
- Contributing to the organization of personnel events, employee rewards, etc.
Social-legal/ HR service
- Serve as first point of contact for HR customer inquiries of colleagues via various intake channels (e.g. phone, general HR mailbox, face to face)
- Take accountability for employee experience related to the above areas of competence, ensuring high quality and fast execution
- Ensure compliance with local rules & legislations in personnel administration, payroll and processes, keeping up with new rules & requirements (good knowledge of labor law is considered a plus)
- Support Amplifon franchisees on labour law inquiries
- Deliver administrative support in onboarding (e.g. requesting insurances, draft contracts/addenda, onboard new joiners in Oracle HCM,…) and all other key employee moments.
The key capabilities for this role:
- You hold a Bachelor/Master’s degree in the HR or Economic field, or equivalent by experience
- You have a sound knowledge of Belgian Labor Law and like to keep up to date with the newest trends in HR Analytics and digitalization
- You possess advanced analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze and interpret relevant data to support the growth of our business
- You can work autonomously in a small team
- You work accurately and deliver high quality and timely reporting
- You have excellent organizational skills
- You demonstrate a proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills
- You are eager to learn and dare to take initiative to take the department to a higher level
- You have a strong customer service orientation
- You are a team player and are willing to share experience and best practices
- You master Excel and other Office applications
- You are fluent in Dutch and English (both spoken and written). French is considered a plus
Knowledge of eBlox, reporting tools and/or Oracle would be a plus, as well as a broader interest/background in (soft) HR.
