Apiday is a comprehensive sustainability data platform designed to help companies worldwide effectively manage their ESG performance. Following a new round of fundraising, the company is entering a phase of hyper growth and is looking for a talented CSRD / Corporate Sustainability Expert to join its ESG team and deepen its overall technical expertise on a broad range of topics.

You will play an instrumental role in both supporting our corporate clients across their various advisory needs and make Apiday the most advanced sustainability software in the industry, working directly with our Head of ESG.

It is an opportunity to make a deep impact on the corporate sustainability industry by bringing to hundreds of SMEs and enterprise clients a tool that supports them across all their needs, from regulatory compliance (CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy) to tailored action plans for all their subsidiaries.

You will be in charge of:

• Expertise: Bring technical advice to our customers, offering insights and recommendations to clients on corporate sustainability strategies, CSRD compliance, optimization of their reporting campaigns, etc.

• Product: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the platform, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our clients and remains at the forefront of sustainable finance innovation.

• Training: Educate all internal Apiday teams on CSRD topics and help them understand implications for their scope of work

• Watch: Ensure a regulatory watch to stay abreast of latest updates on key regulations (CSRD, CSDDD), best practices, and other developments in the field of corporate sustainability.

• Management: Manage a small team of junior experts, give them guidance, review their work and provide constructive feedback.

• You have at least 5 years of experience in the sustainability department of an established consulting or auditing firm, dealing with SMEs and enterprise clients across a broad range of sectors.

• You have a deep understanding of key corporate sustainability regulations (CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CSDDD) and their disclosure requirements, combined to practical experience in producing associated deliverables (e.g. DPEF in France).

• You know the specificities of the corporate sustainability ecosystem well and in particular the nascent CSRD value chain (consultants, providers, auditors, etc).

• You can draw on advanced technical knowledge to define ad-hoc methodologies for key customers (e.g. conduct a double materiality assessment, identify relevant ESRS to disclose, revamp a company’s sustainability strategy, etc).

• You see yourself not just as a CSRD expert, but as a key partner in the long term growth and success of Apiday.

• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, are straight to the point and looking for a dynamic environment where things move fast.

• You have strong analytical and operational skills, intellectual rigor, as well as excellent written communication skills in English - ideally in French too.
