👉 Environment :
Our current CFO, Nicolas, is transitioning to a full-time people leadership role (CPeO) this year to accelerate our talent recruitment & development efforts (here is our blogpost about it).
As a consequence, we’re on the hunt for a new CFO to help Batch transition from 120 to 500+ people gracefully, prepare our Series C, become M&A ready and expand even further internationally to become the European leader and reach 100M€ in ARR.
👉 Details of the role :
Create alignment & performance throughout all the stakeholders :
- work with the CEO on the "Batch Strategic Plan" — the ultimate finance-informed map for all our operations such as fundraising, acquisition, reports to the board, investors and every Batchers (since everyone at Batch is a stockholder) ;
- build a partnership relations with all the C-levels at Batch (to make bold, informed decisions). Necessity to dive deep in both the product and the business to challenge and inform important product, go-to-market and pricing decisions.
Manage a team : be responsible of the current Finance team formed with Clément, Alice and Justine.
Tooling & projects :
- run smooth and scalable financial operations using an efficient Fintech stack with tools such as Chargebee, Salesforce, Chartmogul and Equify ;
- evolve our regulatory compliance and legal efforts.
👉 Preferred experience :
- 10 to 15 years of experience in finance, venture, private equity, FAANG, start-up or scale-up ;
- A previous experience in scaling a sophisticated B2B SaaS platform from 100 to 500 people and ideally more, internationally
- An experience with fundraising and M&A processes
- English fluent (be near-bilingual) : French candidates having lived 2 to 5 years abroad
- Highly analytical person, able to to anticipate all scenarios all the time and put the future in numbers
- Outstanding humility, deep collaborativeness, growth mindset and strong focus
👉 Recruitment process :
- Initial call and introduction with our CEO (30 minutes).
- Interview with all the CODIR members.
- Conduct and complete a case study, in person or remotely.
At the end of this process, Batch will make a job offer to the successful candidate.
