ENTER THE GAME

As an Android Developer on a work-study program, within one of our Squads, you'll contribute to building the best possible experience for our players through the quality of your work and by improving existing code, while helping to evolve our native Android platform. You'll join a team made up of both frontend and backend developers.

NO TECH NO GAME

  • Applications fully developed in-house for optimal control over the entire value chain: real-time segmentation, player protection through awareness and rule integration, risk detection, and more

  • User interfaces designed for an immersive player experience: highly secure, capable of handling high traffic peaks, and integrating live sports streaming

  • Tech teams structured into autonomous squads and tribes, each responsible for a specific functional and technical domain, allowing for full project ownership from start to finish: development, load testing, delivery, production monitoring and alerting

  • By joining our teams, you'll become part of a Fullstack team, giving you the opportunity to grow by working alongside Backend and Frontend developers, testers, and other complementary roles

    • YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 

    In this context, your missions will include:

  • Participating in the design and technical translation of User Stories

  • Contributing to the development of new features on the Android side

  • Helping to improve code quality

  • Ensuring deployment and monitoring of applications in production

  • Sharing best practices, challenges, and project progress with the team

    • TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT 

  • Kotlin, Clean Architecture, MVVM, Compose 
  • Librairies : Kotlin coroutines, RxJava, Retrofit, Dagger 
  • Unit Testing (Junit, Mockito, Kluent), UI Test automation (Espresso, Barista, Gherkin) 
  • Git & Gitflow, Github Actions 

    • WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    Passionate teammates with a great sense of humor, mutual respect, kindness, and a constant drive to grow in their craft!

    This apprenticeship is for you if:

  • You already have experience with Kotlin
  • You have a strong focus on performance and a solid understanding of network-related challenges
  • You're familiar with Reactive Programming concepts (RxJava, coroutines, Kotlin Flow)
  • You're comfortable communicating in English

    • WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

    If your application is shortlisted, Mathilde or Maxime will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

    Next, you will meet your future manager. Finally, Maxime or Mathilde will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.

    The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
