ENTER THE GAME

We are looking for interesting profiles to tackle the challenges of the coming years. The focus for the first years of our Data team has been to replace business intuitions with decisions based on data exploitation, and we are now moving to the next phase with the implementation of data products directly in our application.

You will join a team of 7 Data Scientists to create and deliver products in collaboration with all business teams and become an asset for the entire Data team.

You will also work closely with a team of Data Engineers and Product Owners to industrialize and maintain your models.

YOUR ROLE AT BETCLIC

In this context, your missions are as follows:

  • Contribute to the development and creation of data products (recommendation systems, odds calculation, marketing cost optimization...)
  • Work closely with department heads and use machine learning or mathematical models to improve the customer experience
  • Challenge and improve the existing technical stack and the team's deployment processes
  • Support, assist, and help junior profiles in the team to progress
  • Be a reference in terms of modeling and engineering within the team
  • You will have the opportunity to create, optimize, and develop your models until they are put into production

    • WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    Profiles with a dose of humor, respect, and kindness, as well as a real passion for Data!

    This position is for you if:

  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Scientist in a B2B or B2C environment
  • You are capable of telling a story through data and simplifying technical concepts for business teams
  • You have in-depth knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language (Python is mandatory)
  • You are capable of handling large volumes of data using SQL, Spark, or other tools
  • You have good knowledge and experience in using tools related to the creation of production pipelines (Docker, Airflow, dbt, Datadog...)
  • You have already worked in a Cloud environment (preferably AWS)
  • You have already worked in an agile methodology
  • Knowledge of gambling is a plus

    • WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?

  • If your application is selected, you will be contacted by Elodie within a week for an HR prequalification (30 minutes)
  • We will then ask you to complete the AssessFirst Test (personality, motivations, and reasoning)
  • You will then meet Bertrand - Head of Data Science, your future manager
  • After that, you will prepare a Use Case and present it to Nizam and Mourad, Senior Data Scientists
  • Then you meet Iouri - Chief Data Officer
  • Finally, Elodie will receive you for a final HR interview, and you will take the opportunity to debrief your AssessFirst Test together.
