ENTER THE GAME  

To accelerate its growth and support its development teams, Betclic has established a team focused on Developer Experience (DevEx).

Our DevEx engineers collaborate with Tribes and Squads to streamline continuous integration processes, identify pain points, and promote best practices that improve the quality and delivery of the company's products. They take a thoughtful and tailored approach to each Squad, helping developers work more efficiently.

As part of an agile team, you will help implement these processes and tools by working closely with Betclic's development and cross-functional teams.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC  

In this role, your main missions will be: 

  • Continuous improvement and optimization of the developer experience and application lifecycle
  • Development of tooling and integration components around Cloud, JIRA, monitoring, GitHub, code analysis, automated testing...
  • Support and training of development teams on best practices
  • Maintenance of CI/CD tools and pipelines
  • Advocacy for quality-focused practices across teams
  • Integration into an agile team with demos, retrospectives, and regular feedback
  • Internal application of the recommended practices: TDD, automated tests, CI/CD, observability
  • Tracking of a roadmap with prioritization, impact analysis, and performance measurement via KPIs
  • Technology watch and keeping the platform up to date with the latest standards
  • Technical environment

  • Cloud Environment: AWS, Azure, Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Technical Stack: Docker, Lambda, Serverless, Fargate, Containers App, C#, Java, NodeJS, Python, Terraform
  • DevX: Internal Developer Portal, Backstage
  • CI/CD Tools: GitHub, Actions, SonarQube, Artifactory, Jenkins
  • Databases: SQL Server, MongoDB, PostgreSQL
  • Applications: Jira, Confluence, Datadog
  • Practices: Craftsmanship, TDD, BDD, automated testing, pair programming, Continuous Deployment, as-code, Accelerate, FastFlowEnvironnement 
  • WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?  

    We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm! 

    This job is for you if: 

  • You enjoy working in a team.
  • You have expertise in CI/CD pipelines and a strong understanding of developers' needs.
  • You have already worked in a Developer Experience team or have significant experience in a product team with a Tech Lead role.
  • You have a strong command of the Cloud environment, microservices architectures, and at least one programming language.
  • You have good communication skills and enjoy mentoring and supporting others.
  • Professional English proficiency is required.
  • WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?  

  • If your application is selected, Sébastien will contact you within a week for a 30-minute HR pre-screening
  • You will then be asked to complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivations, and reasoning).
  • Within two weeks, you will have a technical interview with Julien, Engineering Manager.
  • You will then meet with Julien, Software Factory Manager, for a follow-up discussion.
  • Finally, Sébastien will conduct a final HR interview and take the opportunity to debrief your AssessFirst results with you.
  • To provide the best possible candidate experience, Betclic's recruitment process typically lasts between 3 to 5 weeks.
