ENTER THE GAME 

Our Android application, deployed in several European countries, is at the cutting edge of technology and meets high performance and security requirements. As part of the mobile team, your mission will be to contribute to the evolution of our native Android platform. You will join an agile team composed of back-end and front-end developers.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC 

In this role, your main missions will be: 

  • Participate in the technical design and performance of high-traffic Android mobile applications
  • Develop features for Android mobile applications
  • Ensure the quality of developments by producing the necessary unit/functional tests
  • Contribute to improving the quality of app code through best practices
  • Onboard changes to the platform and Android-related tooling
  • Document the project
  • TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

  • Kotlin, Clean Architecture, MVVM, Compose
  • Librairies : AndroidX, RxJava, Retrofit, Dagger
  • Unit Testing (Junit, Mockito, Kluent), UI Test automation (Espresso, Barista, Gherkin)
  • Git & Gitflow, Github Actions
  • WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR 

    We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring kindness and a touch of enthusiasm! 

    This job is for you if: 

  • You have at least 3 years of professional experience in an Android/Mobile environment
  • You are proficient in Kotlin
  • You have significant experience with large-scale applications
  • You know how to write testable code and are proficient in unit testing
  • You have a sensitivity to performance and a good understanding of network issues
  • You have knowledge/understanding of Reactive Programming (RxJava, coroutines, Kotlin Flow)
  • You are fluent in English
  • Bonus: You have experience with Flutter, Kotlin Multi-Platform, or React Native.
  • WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS 

    If your application is shortlisted, Sébastien will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). 

    Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).

    About two weeks later, you will either take a technical test with one of our Technology experts.

    Next, you will meet your future Engineering Manager, followed by the Head of Engineering. 

    Finally, Sébastien will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together. 

    The recruitment process usually takes between 4 to 6 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.
