As a DSP Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in our downstream process (DSP) development team. Working closely with scientists and engineers, you will perform laboratory experiments, operate and maintain high-precision DSP equipment, and contribute to the optimization of processes for protein purification. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative technologies in a fast-paced and dynamic biotech environment.
Your Missions:
Execute laboratory experiments related to protein purification and downstream processing, including filtration, chromatography, and other separation techniques.
Prepare and operate equipment for downstream processing, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility of results.
Contribute to process optimization by testing and implementing new methods or protocols to improve yield, purity, and efficiency.
Assist in troubleshooting DSP processes and equipment, identifying and resolving technical issues.
Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results, ensuring accurate documentation for internal and external use.
Support scale-up activities by collaborating with the industrialization and upstream teams.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain DSP laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
Conduct routine protein analysis (e.g., SDS-PAGE, HPLC, and spectrophotometry) to assess the quality and performance of purification processes.
Assist in developing and refining standard operating procedures (SOPs) for DSP activities.
Participate in the preparation of technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Monitor and manage laboratory supplies and reagents to ensure uninterrupted workflows.
