We seek a JavaScript / Front End Solutions Engineer to join our Professional Services Team in Paris. You’re an experienced professional in development and/or customer integrations, understanding and practicing JS, CSS, and HTML.

Responsibilities

  • Support Botify customers with their JavaScript SEO setup; leveraging Botify's Enterprise SEO Platform, you'll work directly with enterprise brands and their SEO teams on JS-rendering setup and JS SEO best practices
  • Work in conjunction with Botify's SEO Success Managers and Account Teams to ensure that clients using new Botify SEO products are properly supported from a JavaScript SEO perspective; this will include working on various JS-rendering setups and contributing to best practice JS configurations
  • Participate in the definition and improvements of the onboarding and post live process with the Customer Experience team; imagine and create tooling to accelerate and industrialize the integration process
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting utilizing a deep understanding of web page architecture to diagnose and resolve complex customer web page rendering issues within the Botify Advanced Products.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends
  • Participate in product development and testing
  • Represent the company at industry events
  • Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Front End / JavaScript Developer
  • Strong knowledge of Javascript, CSS, HTML and/or configuration languages (Nunjucks, Mustache)
  • General knowledge in network and protocols (for example: HTTP, SSL, DNS, TLS, TCP, IP)
  • Query Languages & Data Analytics: SQL, GraphQL, Looker, GoogleSheet App Scripts
  • Prior exposure to CDNs (Akamai, Cloudflare, Cloudfront, Fastly...), setup, behavior and cache management
  • Exposure to network components and web servers (among haproxy, varnish, nginx, apache, nodejs)
  • Debugging tools: ChromeDevTools, PostMan, Code Review Tools (Linters)
  • Knowledge of networking command line tools such as cURL, wGet
  • Prior exposure to version control such as Git, and Github
  • Essential Skills

  • Understanding of SaaS solutions
  • Ability to recognize when things can be done more efficiently
  • You like to troubleshooting and investigate
  • You can deliver on short term projects for issue resolutions
  • You want to contribute to longterm projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently, and as part of a team
