We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Events Marketing Assistant to support our event initiatives.
Reporting to the Global Events Marketing Manager, as part of the Marketing team, you will assist in planning, executing, and analyzing CoderPad’s events, ensuring smooth logistics and impactful attendee engagement.
CoderPad takes part in various events (tradeshows, conferences, private dinners, etc.) across the world (US, UK and France). You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects (however, traveling to these events is not part of the role).
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global event marketing, project coordination, and performance tracking.
Assist in planning and executing events: creative ideation, booth setup, vendor coordination, shipping/logistics and promotional materials.
Support pre-event promotion via LinkedIn, email and other marketing channels:
Help organize and prepare materials for on-site staff.
Help to maximize the impact of post-event follow-up.
We believe great things can’t be accomplished without great people. We’re seeking creative, adventurous, ego-free people who want to be part of a collective adventure.
We would like you to come just as you are—with your own talent, personality, strengths, and weaknesses.
To be comfortable in this mission, you should have the following profile:
Currently a student in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or a related field.
Strong interest in event marketing: you’re energized by planning, logistics, and helping create memorable, well-executed experiences.
Creative and visually curious: you follow design trends, love well-branded experiences, and have a strong visual sense.
Detail-oriented and organized: you’re comfortable juggling several tasks and keeping timelines on track.
Proactive and adaptable: you’re not afraid to ask questions, share ideas, or jump in where needed.
Comfortable working in English, both written and spoken (daily team communication is mostly in English, French is a plus but not required).
Advantages
Join an international team with colleagues based in France and the US.
Be part of a marketing team that has a direct impact on business outcomes.
Work in a company with strong values, where creativity, curiosity, and personal input are genuinely valued.
Gain a 360° view of events marketing—from strategy to execution and post-event analysis.
Discover a variety of event formats (tradeshows, conferences, dinners, etc.) and learn to adapt tactics to each.
Learn the full event planning process, including creative ideation, logistics, timelines, and budgeting.
Extra paid holiday (because nobody should have to work on their birthday!)
Swile card for meal vouchers.
Public transport subscription (completely free in Montpellier!)
Cool office environment (relaxation area; foosball table; coffee, tea, sodas, and the Mediterranean just 15 km away!).
Apply!
We will send you a few questions that will allow you to better understand the role, and help us identify where your strengths lie. This should take you around 45 minutes to do (asynchronous).
