The Invoicing Business  Analyst  (BA)  is  an  intermediary  between  the  Business  and  the  Technical  teams  to  collect,  clarify  and specify business needs, in order to enable development teams (mainly located in Romania) to design and develop the solution that meets these needs.

The group invoicing tool is used by 20 countries and continues its deployment in new ones. It covers the policyholder activity declaration process, as well as different computation modules in order to define amounts to be invoiced, and documents generation process.  

Due to the existence of several interfaces with other applications (accounting, commercial subscription, claims management, risk portfolio management), the application is located at the crossroad of the Coface information system.

Main responsabilities

• Collects, clarifies and specifies business needs, including the expected user experience, processes, workflow, business rules description

• Helps the PO in the refinement sessions animation

• Details acceptance criteria with business representatives (constraints, assumptions and prerequisites) in order to build deliverables of high quality

• Challenges the need and proposes alternative solutions when the complexity of the solution seems incompatible with the expected benefits or with the investment envisaged

• Writes functional specifications in Confluence and ensures the validation by the Product Owner within the expected time and cost

• Is responsible for the good understanding of the business needs (with the set of modes of use, rules, data, exceptions, and the right degree of accuracy) and the good understanding by the technical teams

• Designs the test plan with the help of the Product Owner or key users

• Collaborates with the testers’ team, in order to define the appropriate scope of the test plan (including non-regression tests)

• Collects and analyzes requests for change or evolutions, in order to estimate the impact 

• Analyzes problems that are raised through user support (level 2) to determine root causes.

• Helps the business teams in the realization of the user tests and participates in the " Users Groups ' where applicable

• Participates actively to all Agile ceremonies, with the responsibility to raise alert on the scope if needed

 


Profil recherché

IT Master degree.

At least 10 years' solid and traceable business analysis experience (including agility methodology).

A previous experience in development will be a real added value.

  • Fluent in French and English is mandatory (daily verbal and written communication in both languages)
  • Deep understanding of SQL queries, usage of JIRA and Confluence
  • Knowledge in the Credit Insurance business and/or in the Invoicing process will be appreciated
