ABOUT THE TEAM

Located in our EMEA headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland), the Regional Logistics team covers the end-to-end logistics flow ensuring high-quality supply chain operations for our European market and our international distributors.

The Regional Logistics team consists of three teammates, operating in the Regional Supply Chain eco-system while reporting to the Global Logistics function.

The Regional Logistics team's goal is to provide our Customers with the best possible services and efficiency by ensuring our Logistics Partners’ services are well integrated into Columbia Sportswear’s Supply Chain operating eco-system.

Our team would engage closely with all stakeholders internally, both in the regional and global teams, to understand and channel the business requirements to our Logistics partners’ standard operation procedures; manage the performance; and likewise consult the respective internal teams on the needed logistics flows. Finally, we are responsible to ensure the cost-to-serve efficiency for the region.

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Regional Logistics Analyst, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of inbound logistics for domestic customers and international distributors. Your mission involves meticulously monitoring the shipping routes, strategically balancing cost considerations with a commitment to top-notch service. You won't just manage local vendor logistics but take charge of optimizing both inbound and outbound processes through KPI monitoring, issue resolution, and adeptly handling claims and SLAs. With a keen eye for detail, you'll ensure accurate activity tracking and systematic updates, including ASN and ETA. Building strong cross-functional connections with both internal and external partners is key to your success. Your contributions won't stop there; you'll actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, making your mark on the broader supply chain landscape.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

  • Provide shipping instructions and Standard Operating Procedures for shipping Ocean and Air shipment of products for all Brands including POP materials (fixtures, mannequins).
  • Consolidate shipment at origin balancing cost and on-time delivery.
  • Manage communication between 3PL Service Provider, Shipping line, European Warehouse or third-party cross-dock facilities.
  • Manage and develop the overall performance of our Logistics partners.
  • Monitor and correct when necessary the accuracy of the shipping information to secure service to our customers and decisions making along the supply chain.
  • Root cause and troubleshoot inbound logistics issues.
  • Keeping the customer in mind, contribute to fulfillment and on-time delivery in contributing to cross-functional projects.
  • Work in extended cross-functional teams to enable fluidity of the goods and information.
  • Initiate, lead, and contribute to projects that deliver logistics operations excellence and cost-to-serve efficiency.
  • Effective backup of other logistics Analyst roles.

YOU ARE

  • Analytical and problem-solving oriented, with a keen eye for details
  • Can connect respective scopes and stakeholders to achieve alignment and results
  • A team player, your interpersonal skills facilitate effective communication but also empower you to adeptly navigate through the complexities of an ever-changing environment
  • In the capacity to prioritize essential tasks and meet deadlines
  • Curious and bring a growth mindset
  • Fluent in English and French

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in transportation logistics and distribution, managing logistics and transportation suppliers
  • Skills in Data management & Analytics tools like Alteryx, PowerBI, etc.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Intermediate experience using Excel to create spreadsheets, charts, key functions (Pivot tables, Vlookup, Sumifs, …)
  • Some exposure to project management would be an asset
