What you’ll achieve

As the DEVOPS & AWS CLOUD ENGINEER, you will be in charge of the architecture design and implementation for platform migrations to AWS. You will actively contribute to the migration from PoC to future operation of our Cloud based CI Platform and systems and you will design, align and contribute to the migration from current on-premise architecture to future operation of our Cloud based CI Platform and systems.

You will:

  • Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and reliable infrastructure using AWS cloud architecture.
  • Operation and support of DevOps tools (e.g. GitHub, Nexus, Jenkins …) in close collaboration with external solution vendors and internal end users and internal infrastructure teams
  • Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and reliable infrastructure using AWS cloud architecture.
  • Architect, implement and roll out DevOps processes and tools for automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and monitoring on AWS.
  • Implement automation solutions using state of the art technologies and use software development and scripting technologies to automate tasks.
  • Implement and operate infrastructure (AWS and on prem) monitoring tools to detect and diagnose system issues.
  • Work closely with development teams and other stakeholders to provide support for development, testing, and deployment processes on the services provided by the team.
  • Administer and operate an AWS solution to enable users to join the Dedalus cloud strategy.
  • Training and Support (service desk) of internal teams in technologies and systems operated and/or provided by the team.
  • License management and purchasing follow-up

Essential Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of AWS experience
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud architecture, Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Nexus, CloudBees, and Github
  • Strong experience with cloud frameworks (e.g CDK, Terraform, …)
  • Strong software development and scripting skills
  • Strong experience with Docker, Bash, Python, Java, and Elasticsearch
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking + very good knowledge of Linux
  • High level of autonomy and ability to handle multiple heterogenous topics
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and intensive deadlines
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills (C2 level)

Desirable Requirements

  • Accurate work, demanding high quality of the work done
  • Good self-organizational skills and ability to handle several parallel tasks properly
