We are at an exciting stage of our journey. We‘ve raised our Series A, expanded in the US, and hit the $1m and $2m ARR milestones in 2024; we aim to x5 our growth by the end of 2025.
Dust is a Sequoia-backed company with an experienced and determined team of optimists (coming from companies like Stripe or OpenAI) that like to focus on users, getting great things done by shipping fast, and doesn’t take itself too seriously while doing so.
We're looking for a Founding Product Marketing and builder to drive Dust's ambitious GTM goals while establishing our marketing foundation. You'll join our team at a critical expansion phase to create measurable adoption in the competitive AI agents market. Working directly with our product and GTM team, you'll shape our messaging and storytelling and strengthen our go-to-market approach while demonstrating marketing's strategic value in our product-led organization.
Product Marketing (50-70%)
Work with our team on product marketing initiatives to strengthen our positioning.
Push the team to translate complex technical capabilities into compelling value propositions.
Push the team to improve our competitive differentiation strategies.
Help refine our messaging to resonate with both technical and business audiences.
Strategy & execution (20-30%)
Design and help Dust implement marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, measurable lead generation, and pipeline creation.
Establish the metrics, systems, and processes needed to measure marketing impact.
Partner closely with marketing and sales to create materials and programs that accelerate deals.
Content & Community collaboration (10-20%)
Help localize and scale our content production and community-building efforts that have shown early success in the EU to amplify our growth in the US.
Help develop our founders’ leadership platforms.
Managing a large team of product marketing specialists right away.
Focusing solely on product marketing.
Creating marketing strategies disconnected from product and sales realities.
Working in isolation without close collaboration with the product and GTM teams in the EU and in the US.
Core Experience
5-8 years marketing B2B SaaS products with measurable growth results
Product marketing expertise in complex technical products, turning intricate features into clear, simple, and compelling stories without losing their essence
Clear, compelling storytelling that resonates with both technical and business audiences
Experience and success as an early marketing hire at a company that grew from promising startup to established player, building systems from zero to scale
Strategic Capabilities
A systematic approach to planning paired with swift, practical execution
Ability to craft marketing direction in uncharted territory, not just follow established paths
Work Style & Mindset
Bias for hands-on work - you design the strategy and execute it yourself
Natural leadership that draws people in through influence rather than authority
Strong convictions balanced with openness to feedback, particularly with technical teams
Comfort with uncertainty and initiative to forge ahead without a detailed roadmap
Nice to Have Technical Domain Experience
Time spent marketing AI platforms, developer tools, or enterprise software
Deep knowledge of enterprise AI and its competitive landscape
Proven collaboration with engineering-first companies
Growth Experience
Success as one of the first two marketing hires at a startup that found product-market fit
Track record building technical communities and content programs that engage developers
