Position details

  • Contract: permanent full time

  • Location: Toulouse (31), partial remote is possible

Context

The Navigation team ensures our autonomous vehicles are able to follow their mission and interact appropriately with their environment : obstacle collision avoidance, intersections crossing, maneuvers.

The Navigation software is at the core of the autonomous driving software, taking high-level decisions from perception and localization data.

Your future responsibilities

Within the EasyMile R&D Navigation’s team, you will:

  • Design, develop and test new autonomous navigation strategies for challenging navigation scenarios (intersection crossing, multi-lane navigation, complex path planning, etc.)

  • Implement, document and review source code, following established coding standards and best practices

  • Test your developments in simulation, on test benches and on vehicles

  • Maintain and improve our software by analyzing logs and resolving issues from development to production

  • Work in a highly collaborative environment


Profil recherché

Ideally, you have a Master’s or a PhD in robotics, computer science, applied mathematics or any relevant field.
We all come from different backgrounds and that is what makes us strong! Don’t hesitate to apply if you are motivated and interested in innovative transportation and technologies.

Mandatory

  • Programming languages (Modern C++ and Python), Data structures, Algorithms - Level Intermediate 

  • Unix/Linux - Level Beginner 

  • Version control system - Level Beginner 

Desired

  • Working knowledge of basic robotics concepts

  • ROS

  • Unit testing and simulation testing

  • Agile methodology

Soft skills

  • Autonomy

Languages skills:

  • Fluent in French and advanced speaking and writing English skills

Déroulement des entretiens

  • 30 minutes call with the recruitment team

  • Preliminary online C++ test

  • Meeting with the navigation team and technical interviews

  • One hour interview with the Manager and the Recruitment team

  • 30 minutes with the Engineering Director
