Context of the team:
The Sensors team is part of the Engineering department of EasyMile. Its mission consists in :
performing an active technological watch in order to select and benchmark candidate sensors for the autonomous vehicle developed by EasyMile.
and assembling sensors set to answer stringent operating scenarios requirements.
Mission:
One of the main tools of the Sensor team consists in a non-autonomous vehicle that can mockup experimental sensors set for dynamic field testing. It requires constant improvement and modifications for successive acquisition campaigns, both on the mechanical and software side. This includes integrating new sensors (LiDAR, RADAR, cameras, …) on the vehicle while maintaining a high availability level.
The alternance mission is to support the team on the tasks related to :
the improvement and maintenance of the acquisition stack on the vehicle, from mechanical installation of sensors on the vehicle to the software integration
sensor characterization, from performing acquisition campaigns to analyzing data in order to produce sensor tests report.

We are looking for:
Student in an Engineering School or a Science Master Degree
Electronic, mechanic known-how
Intermediate level in development (Python and/or C++)
Technical curiosity, pro-active communication, autonomy, team work
Languages skills : written english and fluent French
Desirable:
Experience with robotic, network, Docker, ROS
“DIY” tools (band saw, 3D printer, soldering iron, ….)
