The Game Lab is a Gameloft HQ team dedicated to creating innovative gameplay and game proposals. As a Technical Artist within the Game Lab, you will work on an innovative mobile game and collaborate directly with the team’s artists, designers and developers.

We’re on the lookout for an intermediate Technical Artist to work on our upcoming and innovative mobile game. If you are passionate about mobile games, like working in small teams, and are eager to try on new things in mobile gaming, look no further and join us!

What you’ll do on a daily basis:

• Work directly with the Artistic Director and the Lead Game Designer, realizing and improving their creative vision for the game;
• Work closely with the VFX artist, the animator and the game designers to deliver high quality and high performances features;
• Integrate, validate and optimize graphic data in the engine;
• Optimize and profile;
• Develop tools and rationalize processes;
• Use the best resources and tools to challenge the platform limitations faced by the project: you will be the gatekeeper for tech art constraints, always pushing for top quality and best possible performances.

Who you are : 

• You have at least 4 years of experience in mobile production;
• You have experience working with Unity, especially with its render feature;
• You are familiar with Houdini, Visual Studio, Substance, Blender and 3DS;
• You have a good knowledge of C# and HLSL;
• You have a problem solving mindset, and are always striving to find clever and innovative solutions to technical problems;
• You are a team player, eager to collaborate and communicate with your peers;
• You express yourself clearly in English and enjoy being part of an international, multicultural environment;
• A technical background is a plus
