GuestReady is searching for a driven Operations Manager with a strong background in short-term rentals or property management within the French market. If you have the experience, drive, and passion for excellence, we’d love for you to join us on this exciting journey!

Requirements:

  • Years of Experience: 5-7 years in operation in short term rental, or property management, with a leadership role
  • Languages: Fluent in French and English.
  • Experience: Proven experience in team management, process improvement, and customer service.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a data-driven approach.
  • Flexibility: Available to work weekends and adaptable to various schedules.
  • Composure: Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Host-Centric: Skilled in delivering tailored, satisfaction-focused solutions for hosts.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and culturally aware, able to thrive in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Standards: Committed to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed timely and issues are resolved smoothly.
  • Manage housekeeping and property maintenance services, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers to maintain performance and contract standards.
  • Track performance through key metrics and KPIs, upholding operational standards.
  • Organize and manage work shifts, task assignments, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop local vendor relationships to ensure timely and quality service.
  • Support dynamic pricing strategies by monitoring occupancy and seasonal demand.
  • Work with the revenue team to optimize booking rates and minimize vacancies.
  • Collaborate on upselling services to enhance guest experience and revenue.
  • Ensure properties comply with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Conduct safety audits and enforce safety standards for guests and staff.
  • Provide regular operational reports and insights to stakeholders.
  • Use data analysis to pinpoint improvement areas, cost savings, and efficiencies.
  • Train team members on technology systems, enhancing digital processes.
  • Monitor online booking platforms, ensuring accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Develop and implement protocols for operational crises and after-hours emergencies.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously assess and enhance operational processes for quality and efficiency.
  • Implement cost-effective solutions to boost operational performance.
  • Drive innovation in processes and tools to align with evolving business needs.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and support a high-performing operations team, including guest relations, property maintenance, and housekeeping.
  • Create a positive, collaborative, and effective work environment.
  • Train, mentor, and empower team members to exceed performance goals.
