Job & Missions

Your mission as the Global Sales manager Spices & Herbs is to bring the existing sales to another level. We spent 3 years chasing low hanging fruits, analyzing hundreds of side-streams and creating tens of ingredients. Now, it’s confirmed that this product category is ready to grow, and grow big. We feel that we are at the beginning of something huge. 

This is a unique opportunity to join the category and push the sales with no limits. 

Day to day will be more or less as follow : 

  • Use your B2B sales knowledge and understand well the value chain to sell the right ingredients at the right place, to the right clients;

  • Map and prospect new clients, new countries and new regions;

  • Leverage internal knowledge and support to bring top notch service to your clients; 

  • Achieve ambitious sales targets (with unlimited incentive);

  • Monitor and improve profitability of your portfolio.

We expect you to build a strong & rigorous sales pipeline but also to well monitor key accounts to build opportunities of upsell and cross sell. The world is your limit and we only started to explore it.

The team around you

You will be part of the Spices & Herbs Category and will directly report to the Global Category Manager, an expert in this field, who will provide you with all the knowledge and direction you need to be fully effective in a short period of time. Leveraging your teammates in sourcing, quality, product development, logistics or finance will also be key to succeed in this role.

Skills needed

Being able to adapt to a start up is important. Things go fast and we need your agility to fit in an ever changing environment. We aim for the better of course as we are constantly looking at improving the way we do things, we grow business, and we improve sustainability of the food industry.

Fondamental : 

  • You understand perfectly how things are in B2B industry sales as you have at least 3 to 4 years experience in ingredients;

  • Technical background in Food business is needed, agro engineering is best;

  • You are proactive and able to anticipate quality & specification constraints of both clients & products;

  • You know how to prospect and it is a game you like to play;

  • Great communication & listening skills : balance ego, clear points, always propose a solution when spotting a problem;

  • Fluent English. Any other language is great. 

Bonus

  • Knowing already well Spices & Herbs Category will be a huge advantage and fast track to performance;

  • Circular economy mindset.

Les avantages & conditions :

Here is what we offer :

  • Contract : Permanent -  Full Time.

  • Starting date : ASAP.

  • Preferred location : Based  in Avignon. We could consider the remote in very specific conditions. But as a fast moving start up, we can see that being here with us will be the best way to perform fast and feel the energy of the team.

  • Home office : 2 days a week maximum, starting after 1 month. 

  • Salary : The package starts at 40K€ and will be fine tuned based on your experience. Commissions are not caped, and the more you gain, the happier we are.

Déroulement des entretiens

Recruiting process

  • First meeting : 30mins, content : Your background, experience & motivation. 

  • Second meeting : 60mins, content : Deep dive questions & scorecard.

  • Third meeting : 60mins, content : Management team meeting.

  • Fourth & last meeting : On site meeting (lunch) with the whole team.
