We are looking for an analyst to join us in Paris as from January 2025 for a 6-month internship. You will work on a variety of strategic and growth initiatives alongside the Leadership Team, ranging from high-level strategic projects to hands-on organizational matters.
The role of Strategy & Growth analyst will work directly with the CEO and the Chief of Staff and will entail the following duties:
Business Strategy: Support on new business initiatives through market research, business analysis, financial modeling, and go-to-market strategies
Communication: Create presentation materials for key governance forums (All Hands, Boards, Leadership Team, investor relations, etc.)
Market watch: Perform competitive analysis on key topics such as product value propositions, technology and critical business processes
Fundraising: Assist in the fundraising process including participating in investor discussions and creating investor material (pitch decks, business plans, etc.)
Reporting: Support in structuring the management reporting on strategic topics with KPIs across Sales, Operations, Tech, etc. Oversee and coordinate key business projects that may involve both internal and external stakeholders
Other ad-hoc strategic and operational initiatives
Move at a fast pace in a flat organization; You’ll work autonomously but with close support from the Leadership Team. We believe that the best idea wins, no matter who brings it in!
You will get your hands dirty, learn from subject matter experts, and discover how to apply change across a wide variety of products and services on a global scale
You will see your work and recommendations make an immediate impact as we build innovative insurance products
Background:
Top tier schools and universities in France or abroad
Relevant experience (including previous internships) demonstrating analytical, reporting and research abilities in VC firms, consulting, strategy, M&A or a similar role within a high-growth startup
Skills:
You are a fast learner, curious and able to problem solve
You are rigorous: we will be relying on you! This means you will be structured and have strong analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative)
You are completely fluent in Google/Microsoft Suite, including Excel. You have proficiency in analysing large amounts of data and presenting it clearly with the help of presentations, pivot tables, etc.
You have working knowledge of financial modeling to perform market sizing, profitability analysis etc., or willingness to learn
You are fluent in English: this is our working language! French is not compulsory but you are welcome to practice at our weekly “Café Français”!
