We are INGA and in just two years, we became the new key player in the sponge category in just two years. How did we do that ?

1)     We have a strong team. INGA was built by a highly complementary team of five experienced people (serial entrepreneur, former CMO of Innocent, former P&G manager, etc.)

2)    We entirely focused on product quality. INGA sponges have been voted the best sponges on the french market by the leading consumer magazine (UFC Que Choisir), named Product of the Year, and awarded the Startup Prize by the retail industry magazine (LSA).

3)    We created a strong brand with a very clear brand plateform and a specific tone of voice. Our mission ? Make people want to switch from disposable to sustainable ! Our promise ? The sponge that lasts 1 year !

Present in more than 5,000 points of sale in France, INGA has conquered the French market by becoming the market leader on Amazon and capturing 15% market share in its partner retail stores from the very first year.

And it’s just the beginning, we want to keep disrupting the household market in France and…in elsewhere ! INGA now aims to conquer new markets and is looking for a Country Manager in Italy as part of this strategy.

As a country manager, you’ll be at the heart of INGA’s expansion. Your mission – if you accept it – is very simple : you will be responsible for making a successful launch of INGA in Italy. You’ll be responsible for the commercial strategy in Italy and and its operational deployment.

You’ll report directly to Benjamin, the CEO of INGA. To help you succeed, you’ll not be alone ! You’ll be in touch touch and have the support of all the teams (marketing, logistic, product, commercial etc)


Profil recherché

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in the retail sector in Italy, with both field and negotiation experience who will know how to make the brand shine as in France.

We want a really results-oriented & go-to-market focused Country Manager. As we are seeking someone who will fully take ownership of the project, we offer a package including company shares and a performance-based incentive tied to market results.


Déroulement des entretiens
