Descriptif du poste

We are currently looking for a highly talented and ambitious computational biologist to investigate the continuum between Mendelian, non-Mendelian forms of autoimmune enteropathies and intestinal lymphomas.

The computational biologist will analyze single-cell multi-omics data, such as single-cell transcriptomic (RNA-seq and CITE-seq), single-cell immune profiling (VDJ-Seq) and Whole Exome Sequencing (WES).

In collaboration with the bioinformatic platform, he/she will perform quality control, integration, and visualisation of the data, along with cluster analyses, differential gene expressions, and pathways enrichment analysis.

The candidate should demonstrate competence working both individually and in project teams.


Profil recherché

Qualifications :

  • Master’s or PhD degree in Bioinformatics/Biostatistics are preferred ;

  • Strong knowledge of bioinformatics tools and pipelines used in the analysis of single-cell data (Seurat, Signac, Scanpy, Monocle, MNN, Velocyto, etc.) ;

  • Experience in NGS and high-throughput data analyses (STAR, Trinity, picard, samtools, DEseq, EdgeR, Juicebox, etc.) ;

  • Strong programming skills (R, Python, Bash) ;

  • Expertise in Unix-like OS ;

  • Good communication skills, and proficiency in spoken/written English ;

  • Knowledge of Immunology in general would be ideal.

Salary and length of contract :

The contract will start as soon as possible for a period of 12 months (extendable).

Salary will be established based on experience.
