A Day in the Life

As a Design Engineer in our Packaging department based in Clichy, you’ll be a key player in bringing innovative beauty products to life. Reporting to the Packaging Conception Manager, you’ll join a dynamic 16-person team responsible for designing cutting-edge packaging solutions for new product launches. This role offers a unique blend of creative problem-solving and technical expertise, allowing you to contribute to both immediate business needs and future innovations.

• Design & Development: Using CAD software (Solidworks and/or Catia), you’ll design cosmetic packaging (plastic, glass, or metal parts), including 3D modeling, 2D drawings with functional dimensioning, and prototype production follow-up.
• Simulation & Analysis: You’ll leverage numerical simulation (Linear Static) and rheological simulation to ensure the functionality and performance of your designs.
• Collaboration & Innovation: You’ll collaborate closely with packaging teams, brainstorm creative solutions, and interact with suppliers (converters, mold makers, and various partners) to bring your designs to fruition. You’ll also contribute to innovation projects, pushing the boundaries of packaging technology and potentially contributing to patent filings.
• New Technologies: You’ll have the opportunity to work with in-house 3D printing equipment and other cutting-edge technologies, constantly exploring new possibilities in packaging design.

We Are Looking For

• Technical Expertise: Master’s degree (Bac +5) in mechanical design with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical design office. Prior experience in packaging or knowledge of plastics processing and molds (injection / injection-blow molding / extrusion-blow molding) is highly desirable.
• Software Proficiency: Excellent command of Solidworks and/or Catia V5, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong ability to work in a team, excellent communication skills, and a good level of English (written and spoken).
• Organization & Rigor: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Creativity & Innovation: A creative mindset and a passion for exploring new technologies.

A Day in the Life

En tant qu’Ingénieur Conception au sein de notre département Packaging basé à Clichy, vous jouerez un rôle clé dans la création de produits de beauté innovants. Rattaché(e) au Responsable Conception Packaging, vous rejoindrez une équipe dynamique de 16 personnes chargée de concevoir des solutions d’emballage de pointe pour les lancements de nouveaux produits. Ce poste offre une combinaison unique de résolution créative de problèmes et d’expertise technique, vous permettant de contribuer à la fois aux besoins commerciaux immédiats et aux innovations futures.

• Conception et Développement : À l’aide de logiciels de CAO (Solidworks et/ou Catia), vous concevrez des emballages cosmétiques (pièces en plastique, en verre ou en métal), y compris la modélisation 3D, les dessins 2D avec cotation fonctionnelle et le suivi de la production de prototypes.
• Simulation et Analyse : Vous utiliserez la simulation numérique (statique linéaire) et la simulation rhéologique pour garantir la fonctionnalité et la performance de vos conceptions.
• Collaboration et Innovation : Vous collaborerez étroitement avec les équipes packaging, participerez à des séances de brainstorming pour trouver des solutions créatives et interagirez avec les fournisseurs (transformateurs, fabricants de moules et divers partenaires) pour concrétiser vos conceptions. Vous contribuerez également à des projets d’innovation, repoussant les limites de la technologie d’emballage et contribuant potentiellement au dépôt de brevets.
• Nouvelles Technologies : Vous aurez l’opportunité de travailler avec des équipements d’impression 3D internes et d’autres technologies de pointe, explorant constamment de nouvelles possibilités en matière de conception d’emballages.

Profil Recherché

• Expertise Technique : Master (Bac +5) en conception mécanique avec un minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en bureau d’études mécaniques. Une expérience préalable en packaging ou une connaissance des procédés de transformation des plastiques et des moules (injection / injection-soufflage / extrusion-soufflage) est fortement souhaitée.
• Maîtrise des Logiciels : Excellente maîtrise de Solidworks et/ou Catia V5, ainsi qu’une maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office.
• Collaboration et Communication : Forte capacité à travailler en équipe, excellentes compétences en communication et un bon niveau d’anglais (écrit et oral).
• Organisation et Rigueur : Très organisé(e) et soucieux(se) du détail, avec la capacité de gérer plusieurs projets et de respecter les délais.
• Créativité et Innovation : Un esprit créatif et une passion pour l’exploration des nouvelles technologies.
