NEO is a major Group worldwide program decided by the Executive Committee - that will create common, simplified, and harmonized ways of working that will enable us to operate cross-métier processes in our plants, Countries, Zones & Divisions.

By optimizing processes among divisions, NEO will allow us to support our goto-market initiatives in a more consumer centric and agile fashion, while improving the user experience and workloads for our teams. Laying the foundation for Beauty Tech, NEO will contribute to group performance, by leveraging our data, and helping transform L’Oréal into a “smart company”

Today NEO Program is at a turning point: shifting from a “design & build & pilots mode” (phase 1) to a “rollout mode” (phase 2) to deploy NEO in all L’Oréal entities.

To support this second phase of the project the Data Tribe is at the heart: ensure quality of Data, from conception to migration, integrated approach of data for any kind of Master Data

Join our Data Tribe in the capacity of Master Data Management Expert

The scope of this dedicated Data Tribe overviews the full scope of Data from Master Data Management (MDM) to Data Migration. We are also industrializing several tasks to create a more scalable model for roll-out with the Data Migration Factory.

HERE’S HOW YOU WILL HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY IN IT:

In the NEO Data Tribe, you will join one of our MDM squads. You are interested about all aspect around the data: Data Design, Data flows, Data governance. You understand the S/4 Business Partner concept (in particular Supplier and Employee) and its business usage. You will design the S/4 Data Model, understand how the data is produced upfront in our MDM EBX Tibco system. You will connect all S/4 satellite applications consuming the data and following the modern architecture best practices (API first).

As an expert, you may latterly contribute to the maintenance of the applications.

On the NEO Program we are working with AGILE methodology

MAIN MISSIONS ON THE JOB

  • Support the Master data domain “Product owners” in the definition of the business needs and translate them into specification for development/improvement of IT applications.
  • With our IT skills, Deliver the functional specifications of the applications.
  • Analyze the impact of proposed solutions on the domain processes
  • Customize/configure the S/4 Business Partner, prepare functional tests and endorse responsibility for validating developments before application roll out.
  • Manage ongoing relationships with internal clients giving regular updates on developments and improvements.
  • Participate and deploy the change management activities by accompanying end users and providing trainings.
  • Provide support on escalated maintenance issues to the Service Delivery teams.


THE SKILLS THAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED:
  • Act as a proactive Business Partner:
    • “Big picture” understanding of the L’Oréal business, operating model, processes and roles.
    • Ability to deal with complex IT / Business organizational structures, in multi-located and multi-cultural environment
  • Decode & influence:
    • Clarify and simplify technical concepts / solutions to facilitate action and decision making by product owner
    • Listen actively to his partners/clients to decode needs, qualify them properly and transform them in relevant technical solutions
  • Act with strong transversal management skills:
    • Bring an end-to-end vision of ecosystem of stakeholders
    • Manage efficient interactions with both internal and external contributors
    • Respect proposed methodology, and contribute to secure timing, budget and resource allocation on build activities
  • Facilitate knowledge management and expertise transmission:
    • Rapidly acquires new knowledge on delivered IT solutions and keeps constantly teams updated enhancements in his/her field
    • Organize at his/her level the relevant transmission of the technical and/or project management skills and “know how”


WHAT COULD BE THE NEXT STEPS AFTER THIS POSITION?

Since this position is quite transversal, we identified at least 3 different environments for a next step after these missions:
  • Business Intelligence
  • S/4 environments (run, roll-out)
  • Project Management (Data Migration for instance)
