Le Fooding is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Editorial Coordination Intern to support our dynamic editorial team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes in a fast-paced environment where planning, scheduling, and team coordination are crucial. As an Editorial Coordination Intern, you will assist in managing the workflow of our editorial projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in planning and coordinating editorial content across various platforms. 

  • Assistance in coordinating the investigations and reports for the Fooding Guide Belgium 2025, whose print version will be released in September 2025. 

  • Maintain and update editorial calendars, project timelines, and schedules to ensure timely content delivery. 

  • Use Excel and other tools to track progress, manage data, and generate reports for the editorial team. 

  • Coordinate with writers, editors, and other team members to facilitate effective communication and workflow. 

  • Organize and participate in editorial meetings, taking detailed notes and distributing action items.  

  • Help manage communications between editorial and other departments, ensuring alignment on projects. 

  • Designing and publishing content on www.lefooding.com. Enhancing the database of Fooding hotels, bars, shops, cellars, and restaurants. 

  • Support the editorial team with administrative tasks, such as file management, documentation and reimbursements.  

  • Contribute to process improvements to enhance overall team efficiency and effectiveness. 

  • Contacting restaurateurs and verifying information.

Profil recherché

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Business Administration, or a related field.  

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and familiarity with project management tools. 

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. 

  • A strong interest in the French, Belgian and international culinary scene, as well as cultural and societal topics related to gastronomy. 

  • Previous experience in project coordination, editorial work, or administrative roles is a plus but not required. 

  • Profound knowledge of English and either French or Dutch.
