The job

We are looking for an experienced Devops who will be a part of the Platform Engineering team and help improving delivery pipelines and providing a reliable and scalable platform to our customers and improve the developer experience.
You'll be directly reporting directly to our Lead Platform Engineer.

Your missions will be:

  • As a member og the DevOps (Platform Engineering team), work in collaboration with development teams to continuously improve their code delivery pipelines using GitLab and Ansible

  • Act as a facilitator, making sure Developers have the best experience and ensure releases are smooth. Objective is to deliver on-demand.

  • Monitor our platform availability and performance using Kibana/Logic Monitor/Open Telemetry

  • Process support tickets, determine incident root causes and add new alerts to our monitoring platform

  • Improve our monitoring stack, adding new alerts and metrics to our monitoring Platform. We are actually working on a POC with mixed Prometheus and ElasticSearch

  • Work on the post-migration to public cloud using tools such as Terraform and Ansible

  • Help the development teams move the platform from Windows/.NET/.NET Core to Linux/.NET Core/NodeJS, from Monolith to Microservices

  • Explore new technologies, imagine how we could leverage them and be aware of critical security issues.

  • Cloud providers : Azure, AWS

  • Code versioning tool: Gitlab

  • Deployment tools: GitLab Pipelines, AWX/Ansible

  • OS: Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS), Windows/IIS/SQLServer

  • Container: Docker, Docker compose

  • Monitoring : ELK, Prometheus (We are looking at Grafana)

  • Messaging: RabbitMQ

  • Office Tools : Slack, Office365, Notion

Requirements:

You’re the perfect candidate if you :

  • Have strong communication skills to collaborate in a fast moving company, strong troubleshooting skills and ability to learn quickly (using any tools at your disposal) where knowledge gaps exist to find solutions to technical problems.

  • Have been building pipelines and/or monitoring production environments for 2+ years in the cloud (both AZURE and AWS would be awesome)

  • Have experience working in Windows/IIS/SQLServer environments and Unix/Linux environments and a strong experience on Docker, Terraform, Ansible

  • Care about code security, quality, simplicity and performance

  • Are fluent in French and English

  • Like to work with others and participate in the team life


Nice to have :

  • You have an experience in payment / a regulated industry
