Founded in France in 2013 by two French DIY enthusiasts amazed at the lack of digitalization in the market, ManoMano is now present in 6 European countries (France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Germany, UK), federates over 5,000 sellers and now offers the widest range of DIY and gardening products online (+19 million products references).

The Head of Acquisition and Performance Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the overall paid acquisition strategy to drive growth and profitability for ManoMano in 6 countries. This role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and customer behavior. We are looking for a leader with a "pirate mindset"—someone who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, take calculated risks, and explore uncharted waters to achieve outstanding results.

Strategy Development:

  • Design an effective acquisition strategy that aligns with the company's growth and profitability objectives, with local adaptations in the different countries, across all channels

  • Write the future of ManoMano’s acquisition based on recent market and technological evolutions


Performance Marketing:

  • Lead and optimize all paid marketing channels including Google Shopping, SEM, Affiliation, Social Media etc to guarantee ManoMano’s profitability and growth

  • Set an ambitious incrementality test plan to improve performance of the paid marketing campaigns including our marketing mix, campaign structure, data feed, conversion value model and traffic acquisition funnel


Monitoring

  • Monitor the performances of the paid acquisition strategy, top priority for Manomano and handle a 8-digit budget.

  • Report on Paid acquisition revenues and budget on a weekly/monthly basis with Finance & Excom

  • Continuously monitor the effectiveness of budget allocation, making adjustments to improve ROI and achieve overall acquisition targets.

  • Develop performance control & management tools of the marketing expenses


Team Leadership:

  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team focused on paid acquisition, affiliation and performance metrics.

  • Foster a business-driven culture within the team, with a continuous improvement and bold mindset


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with Data, Sales, Media, Product and Tech teams to ensure alignment on the roadmap to improve performance marketing impact

  • Collaborate with the analytics team to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Collaborate with the Commerce teams to adapt the strategy and the marketing budget allocations to the market-specificities and commercial objectives



Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on acquisition and performance marketing.

  • Proven track record of scaling acquisition in an international marketplace or e-commerce environment with strong focus on Google Shopping

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data analytics tools and marketing platforms.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embrace a mindset of exploration and disruption
