Job Title: IT Data Manager France Reports to: CIO France Location: Levallois

Job Summary :

Given the crucial role of Beauty Tech Data in achieving L’Oréal’s strategic ambitions, the IT Data Manager acts as critical link between France Data & Analytics team and the BTDE (Beauty Tech Data Europe team) for ensuring alignment between IT Data initiatives and France’s business objectives.

The IT Data Manager will be responsible for demand management, oversight of IT data products management and monitor on-going operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

In addition, she/he will foster a close working relationship between local business stakeholders and BTDE team.
Based on capacity, the IT Data Manager may also contribute, in close collaboration with BTDE team, to new development of local or EU-delegated data products, following agile methodologies.

Key responsibilities:

  1. IT Business Partner :
    Collaborate with the Business Head of Data France to shape and maintain the data roadmap, providing technical expertise and strategic counsel.
    Serve as primary point of contact for France Data & Analytics team, providing expert technical guidance and support on IT data-related matters.
    This involves proactively engaging with business stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and partnering to spearhead data innovation, from identifying Proof of Concept (POC) opportunities to scaling successful solutions.
  2. Demand Management :
    Support France Data & Analytics team to submit properly documented demands.
    Keep track of demand progress and support BTDE in the assessment.
    For new local build, drive the demands through all validation committees.
  3. Country-driven products overview: Maintain a consolidated overview of all on-going and incoming data projects within France, categorized by adopt, adapt, and build.
    Track project progress, identify potential roadblocks and escalate issues as needed.
    Collaborate with BTDE run team to monitor the performance and stability of products in run and support during escalations
  4. Budget Management:
    Contribute to budget planning process for data initiatives in France and monitor throughout the year.


Additional responsibilities (based on capacity):

  1. Agile Product Management : Play as Agile delivery manager for the creation of for new local or European data products.
    This may involve driving an IT development squad (data engineers, data visualization experts and testers) through agile methodology


Required Skills:
• Demonstrable experience in a data or project management role, ideally in a multi-branded omni-channel company environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong collaboration & relationship building skills, comfortable working with different teams and functions
• Comfortable with a fast-paced, dynamic, constantly changing environment
• Stakeholder management and experience managing small teams and external consultants
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile methodologies
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Preferred: knowledge of ServiceNow
