Job Description:

The role of the Internal Audit Intern EMEA is to participate in operational, strategic, and financial audits, as well as consulting projects within the EMEA region. The manager will support the Internal audit team in delivering the internal audit plan.

The Internal Audit Intern EMEA will be a part of a dedicated team of nine internal audit managers focused on the EMEA region. Building strong relationships with key stakeholders is vital for this role, as it positions the manager as a trusted partner.

Working closely with the other Internal Audit Managers, the role individual in this role will collaborate to execute audits, ensuring effective communication of progress and any issues to the Audit Senior Manager as necessary.

  • Participate in new audits and consultative engagements including core insurance, compliance, operational, and strategic areas.
  • Performs audit procedures which involve developing criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting management processes and procedures.
  • Conduct interviews, review documents, develop and administer surveys, compose summary memos, and preparing working papers.
  • Identify, develop, and documents audit issues and recommendations for improvement exercising independent judgment regarding the areas under review.
  • Communicate audit projects results through timely written reports and oral presentations to management.
  • Follow-up on the remediation status of agreed management actions.
  • Support IA Initiatives such as revising audit programs or implementing data analytics procedures.
