Global Supply Chain Capability Lead

We’re looking for a Global Supply Chain Capability Lead who will lead development and implementation of supply capability programs. 

 

What are we looking for? 

  • Bachelor's and Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Capability Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Capability Management principles and best practices.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Capability Management tools and technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and report.
  • Familiarity with digital transformation and change management.

What will be your key responsibilities? 

PROCESS - implement an operating Capability Management framework for Supply Chain

  • Design and implement a robust Capability Management framework tailored to the needs of Supply Chain and built on the five elements MARS model.
  • Build on the Global Supply Chain Strategy and develop and implement capabilities for sharing knowledge across Supply Chain, including training programs, workshops, and digital platforms.
  • Work closely with supply chain teams and other departments to ensure capabilities are effectively shared and utilised.
  • Regularly review and update the Capability Management framework to ensure it meets the evolving needs for Supply Chain.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the Capability Management framework.

ORGANISATION - create and define organisational archetypes for Supply Chain

  • Design and define organisational archetypes tailored to the specific needs of Supply Chain.
  • Run analysis of current organisational structures and processes to identify areas for improvement and collaborate cross-segment within our MARS network.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate their feedback into the organisational design.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support the adoption of new organisational structures.
  • Create detailed documentation of organisational archetypes, including roles, responsibilities, and reporting lines as well as maturity levels within the role.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES - establish and accelerate communities of practice for Key Users

  • Develop and implement a roadmap to establish communities of practice for key users within Supply Chain.
  • Identify and document critical knowledge from various sources within Supply Chain, including best practices, lessons learned, and process documentation.
  • Promote the sharing of best practices, lessons learned, and innovative ideas among key users.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where key users can connect, share insights, and solve common challenges.

TOOLS & KNOWLEDGE - identify and deploy the best fit digital solution for Capability Management

  • Leverage Capability Management tools and technologies to enhance knowledge capture, storage, and distribution processes.
  • In collaboration with the Data and Technology team, conduct thorough assessments of potential vendors and technologies, including demonstrations, trials, and reference checks.
  • Research and evaluate digital solutions for Capability Management, considering the specific needs of Supply Chain.
  • Develop and execute detailed implementation plans for selected digital solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Provide training and support to supply chain teams to ensure effective adoption and utilisation of new digital solutions.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive change management strategy to manage the needs of Supply Chain and EOS pilot countries.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to understand their concerns and needs and incorporate their feedback into change management plans.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of change management processes, plans, and outcomes.
  • Work closely with project teams, local leaders, and other departments to ensure coordinated and effective change management efforts.
