Mirakl is seeking a Director of Consolidation and Accounting Operations for its Finance team at the Paris headquarters.

Reporting to the Group CFO, the Director is responsible for all the financial processes of the group. This role is crucial and ensures the quality and reliability of financial processes.

The Director manages the Finance Operations teams, consisting of about fifteen people. Additionally, they coordinate with external service providers: the consolidation firm and local accounting firms in various countries.

They manage the relationship with auditors.

They collaborate with all Finance teams, particularly with Financial Control.

Responsibilities:

The Director of Consolidation and Accounting Operations oversees:

Accounting

  • Ensuring the quality of monthly accounting and the production of annual statutory financial statements for all Group entities within legal deadlines.

Consolidation

  • Leading the preparation of the Group’s consolidated accounts, transitioning from French accounting standards to IFRS, and managing relationships with local and central auditors.

Taxation

  • Ensuring the Group’s compliance with various tax regulations in the countries where the Group operates. Documenting tax positions and coordinating with advisors.

Processes

  • Harmonizing and optimizing processes within different group entities and supporting the integration of new entities or countries.

Profile:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a business school (e.g., Master CCA or DSCG).
  • 10 years of experience in financial roles with excellent command of financial processes, strong technical skills in accounting and consolidation.
  • Experience in both audit firms and corporate settings.
  • Proficiency in IFRS standards.
  • Ability to work on complex, cross-functional projects, stay updated with technical developments with the support of advisors and auditors, and be hands-on with regular accounting and tax operations.
  • Professional proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken.
  • Proactive, pragmatic, and agile approach necessary for success in this role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal teams at headquarters and in various countries, as well as with external service providers.
