Your mission

As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will:

  • Lead the Backend team

  • Work with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager to define sprints and priorities

  • Lead backend architectural decisions and improvements

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems

  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic

  • Build scalable and secure APIs that power our platform

  • Optimize application performance and ensure high availability

  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement


Profil recherché

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead Backend Engineer who:

  • Has a minimum of 7 years of experience in back-end development

  • Strong experience with Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript and PostgreSQL

  • Understands fundamental design principles behind scalable applications

  • Has experience with API development and RESTful services

  • Thrives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment

  • Has excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication with non-technical collaborators

  • Bonus points if you have experience as team leader

  • Then a technical interview including a peer programming with a technical manager from Ocus
