About the role

As the Managing Director, India at Ogury, you will play a key role in leading and launching the operations in India. 

You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and executing impactful sales strategies, while developing and leading a high-performing team. 

Reporting to the Regional Managing Director, APAC, your mission is to ensure the achievement of team and company objectives by working closely with both internal teams and external customers. 

This is an exciting leadership opportunity to drive Ogury’s growth and introduction in the rapidly evolving Indian market.

With a strong emphasis on team development and client relationships, this role offers the chance to make a lasting impact and shape Ogury’s future success in India.

This role offers frequent travel and provides ample opportunity to network with industry leaders and leverage your market expertise.

This is a hybrid role where we encourage our team to join us in office at least two days per week.

  • What you will be doing

  • Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Develop and execute Sales strategies to capture market opportunities and meet business goals

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Digital Agencies, Direct Advertisers and resellers in India
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and deliver tailored solutions that align with their objectives
  • Serve as a point of escalation for critical client issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Stay updated on Digital Advertising industry trends, market conditions, and competitor intel in India and feedback into the organization
  • Use market insights to adjust sales strategies and stay ahead in the Adtech sector
  • Recruit, train, & mentor sales professionals to build a high-performing sales org
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Create a highly motivated sales team that works with commitment to company values and objectives
  • Collaborate internally to report sales performance, financial status, and budget variance
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop and oversee the budget for the India market, including revenue projections and expense management
  • Ensure financial goals are met and take necessary actions to address any discrepancies
  • Follow company guidelines while maintaining operational excellence
  • What you will bring to Ogury

  • Proven experience in sales leadership roles in Digital Media, preferably with an Adtech organization
  • Experience in the digital landscape working and solutions that combine Mobile, Data, Creative and  Programmatic offerings
  • Strong relationships with senior management within Agencies & Brands, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and brand awareness in market
  • Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions
  • A track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
  • Knowledge of the Adtech ecosystem, programmatic advertising, and industry trends
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing market conditions
