Position responsibilities

We are looking for a highly experienced IT professional for the position of Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Administrator. The selected candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration and security hardening of Ubuntu servers running Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat; and the preparation of machine images on AWS and Azure for the provisioning of such servers.

As an Infrastructure & Cloud Systems Administrator, your main responsibilities will be: 

• Define the optimal configuration of Ubuntu, Apache HTTP Server and Apache Tomcat for running our company' solutions
• Ensure that our server delivers optimal performance and provides adequate means of observability
• Enforce best security practices on our servers in compliance with ISO 27001
• Develop and evolve the Packer processes in charge of the recurrent generation of machine images for Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure
• Support the Infrastructure and Cloud Evolution team in the development of automated procedures for the provisioning of Ubuntu servers

Position requirements

The professional we are seeking must have: 

• >4 years experience working with Ubuntu Linux (server) as a System Administrator (or other Debian based distributions)
• Tomcat Application Server knowledge
• Apache2 HTTP Server knowledge
• Java installation and configuration knowledge
