About the Legal team 🦸

Ornikar’s legal department is growing and we are currently building our team with Audrey (Legal Manager)(https://www.linkedin.com/in/audrey-gillessen-48231531/) and Valentin (Legal Partner). The Legal team is located in Paris but we are know looking for a legal counsel located in Madrid and dedicated to support our Spanish entity. We have a very business oriented and transverse role as we are constantly in contact with every department to support their legal needs.

We are looking for a Legal Partner for Onroad 🌋

As a Legal Partner @Onroad, you will be working closely with Audrey but also our GM Spain, Marco (https://www.linkedin.com/in/marcocivolani/). Our Driving product consists in a marketplace from which our B2C students can book driving lessons with professional teachers. You will be in charge of assisting the business in every legal question they may have (commercial law, consumer law, IP law, GDPR, etc).

What you will do 🛠

Assist the business in Spain with their daily legal issues ((commercial law, consumer law, IP law, GDPR, employement law, etc) and more precisely :

• Draft, analyse and negotiate commercial partnership contracts

• Make sure our legal documentation on our website is continuously compliant to the applicable regulations (and more specifically to consumer law)

• Maintain the company in compliance with the GDPR

• Make sure our driving activity is continuously compliant to the applicable regulations

• Put in place processes to improve the legal support function to the business in Spain

• Research (case law and legal literature) is done in order to feed the company’s legal bible and to deal with day-to-day issues

You are our ideal candidate if you… 🤩

• Have worked as a business lawyer/legal counsel for at least 5 years in Spain and you are a Spanish native speaker
• Feel very comfortable in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
• Have notions of Intellectual property law, specifically in the day-to-day business and also while negotiating contracts
• Are familiar with the GDPR regulation
• Are familiar with the Marketplace/Platform ecosystem
• Are a real business partner, willing to be creative in order to find the best legal/business compromise
