As we continue expanding, we’re looking for a Lab Operations Intern for 6 months to play a key role in shaping our Spanish and Italian operations. If you thrive in a fast-paced, impact-driven environment and love taking on challenges, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

About the lab : 

The Lab is the innovation department within papernest operations. We generate new idead, refine initiatives from toher departments, and provide a trustworthy environment to test and experiment new projects. Our approach is lean : we validate concepts with minimal resources, iterate rapidly, and support scaling successful initiatives. our goal is to push the boundaries of operations, making every process more efficient and impactful.

Your responsibilities : 

• You’ll support our Spanish market’s existing Lab operations while building our Italian market Lab from the ground up.
• In Spain, you’ll help refine current Lab processes and give support on on-going projects.
• In Italy, you’ll take on an exciting challenge: structuring the Lab operations from scratch, onboarding a new Lab team, and defining methodologies to establish a strong foundation for rapid growth.
• Your role will be highly strategic and hands-on. You’ll experiment, iterate, and optimize operations to drive sustainable growth. You’ll have the opportunity to test bold ideas, propose new initiatives, and be a key player in shaping the future of both Italian and Spain markets.

• Your key points of contact will be Joan (Lab Operations Project Manager for Spain & Italy) and Daniele (Operations Manager Italy).

What you'll do :

• Lead & Execute: Drive projects from concept to implementation, ensuring efficient, high-quality execution.
• Innovate & Experiment: You’ll test new processes, propose strategic initiatives, and optimize operations through hands-on experimentation.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product, data, marketing, sales, and operations teams to align efforts and maximize impact.
• Scale & Optimize: Identify successful initiatives and replicate them for sustainable growth.
• Analyze & Learn: Track key metrics, measure success, and continuously refine processes based on data-driven insights.
