To continue expanding we are looking for a Country Manager Iberia based in Barcelona, who will represent PrestaShop in Spain, Portugal with a mission to increase brand awareness, multiply the merchant base and identify strategic local partnerships that will position PrestaShop as the preferred e-commerce solution in the region.

The Country Manager will report to the VP Merchant Sales, based in France.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Executing the sales and go-to-market strategy in Iberia, ensuring revenue growth on PrestaShop's strategic revenue lines according to objectives by coordinating a team of 3 (1 local based in Madrid, 2 based in France).
  • Developing our ecosystem of PrestaShop Agencies and identifying potential partnerships with local web agencies and freelance developers to grow our international network of certified web agencies and as a result, grow our merchant base.
  • Identifying potential local partnerships on different verticals (payment, logistics, marketplaces, hosting, product reviews etc.), contacting and facilitating the execution of contracts to assist the business development teams of PrestaShop
  • Managing Top ecommerce merchant’s relations and acquiring new ones
  • Working closely with the Marketing team, developing brand awareness, managing the relationship with the local Community forums, organizing Community meetings, and relaying PrestaShop news with the local press (both specialized and general). 
  • Facilitating the organization of local events to establish PrestaShop as a leader in the local e-commerce landscape.
  • Facilitating the localization of the software by contributing to translations in his respective language and identifying the need for functional enhancements to meet the local demands and regulations.
  • Bringing the “voice of the customers” internally to influence the Product roadmap.
  • Drafting weekly and monthly reports: actions that have been carried out, partners, agencies and prospective clients contacted, obtained results.
  • Implementing internal controls to identify and mitigate execution risks and/or prevent failures.
  • Playing a central role in anticipating and facilitating PrestaShop's commercial transformation, being Prestashop spokesperson in the countries served

Requirements

  • Min. 15 years of experience in sales and sales leadership and more than 10 years of experience in business development, partner activation, and distribution channel development in the tech/digital/ecommerce sector;
  • Proven track record of delivering results;
  • Proven experience in managing a team, as well as collaborating with internal teams, including product, marketing, finance, and technology to drive program execution and partner experience in an international and matrix environment;
  • You are customer-oriented, analytical and proactive in problem-solving;
  • Thorough and methodical attention to detail;
  • Great ability to tell stories to drive change through written, verbal and presentation tactics;
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential for this job.
  • Master Degree required.
