Le poste

Descriptif du poste

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Officer to join our team and help structure and administer our finances, including client accounting and payroll management. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our growing, flexible, and fast-moving company.

Key Responsibilities are to:

  • Oversee internal financial operations, accounting, and reporting;

  • Provide financial guidance for our global consulting services;

  • Optimize financial performance for sustainability and growth of our company;

  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for various projects in collaboration with other units;

  • Implement, integrate and oversee digital tooling for automated and efficient financial operations;

We offer:

  • Remote-first work with regular on-sites, or hybrid work with an office in Saint-Maur-des-Fossées, 15mins with public transportation from the center of Paris.

  • A competitive compensation package;

  • The opportunity to work in a highly innovative, engineering-driven and internationally recognized organization;

  • A collaborative, fast-paced work environment and atmosphere without strict hierarchies or formalities;

  • Global and visible impact through open source solutions used by millions across the world;

  • Professional career development in the rapidly evolving tech ecosystem with exposure to the EU and US market.

Profil recherché

We are seeking an agile, automation-oriented, hands-on CFO, fluent in both French and English, and familiar with the regulatory environment of France. Here are more questions to help you judge whether this position is a fit:

  • Have you previously worked on the financial administration or leadership of a small to medium-sized company?

  • Do you enjoy working autonomously in a small, flexible, and engaged team?

  • Do you like robust and lean solutions over complex perfectionism?

  • Do you like taking ownership and responsibility for a problem?

  • Do you like using technology and tools to achieve your goals?

  • Do you enjoy the meticulous aspects of finance and accounting?

  • Do you enjoy discovering and learning new digital tools in a fast-moving sector?

  • Can you manage the complexities of work in an international regulatory environment?

And the following are doubts that shouldn’t hold you off:

  • You don’t have a formal degree or training in business or finances. We equally value all hands-on but also tech-affine experience combined with the drive to learn and take responsibility.

  • You feel too old to be a digital native, or too young to have the required experience. While usage of digital tooling and some practical experience are required, we equally value the convincing drive to learn and take responsibility.

If you think you can positively answer all these, please apply and share with us any experience, statements or indicators that illustrate this in the cover letter and your CV.

Déroulement des entretiens
