Technical leadership of Mechanical Design Engineering teams (Work Units) responsible for Compressor, Combustion Chamber, Turbine – Static / Rotative Parts
Cooperate with Design Office Manager in creation of new Mechanical Design Organization within Safran Aircraft Engines Poland – collaboration contracts, technical specifications, remote teams management policy, work coordination, hiring
Supervise, track and report progress of activities and projects within Work Unit of Design Office
Full accountability for agreeing the new activities, defining deadlines, tracking and reporting work progress in direct contact with the external customer
Technical validation of work related with non-conformity assessment of aero engines components
Preparation of strength analyses (static, LCF, HCF, fatigue, overspeed, FBO, crack propagation) of aero engine components using FEA (Ansys Workbench) and analytical methods
Defining technical solutions (request for drawing change, Production Permit, process optimization) to eliminate non-conformities on products
Day-to-day cooperation with internal and external stakeholders from design, technology, quality and manufacturing at various stages of implementation and serial production
Must:
Language: English, C1
Master degree in engineering
Teamwork, analytical thinking, self-motivation, ‘can-do' attitude and decision-making skills
Ability of technical drawing interpretation
In-depth understanding of the Theory of Elasticity, Fatigue Strength and related challenges
Professional experience as a mechanical engineer / stress engineer preferably in aerospace industry
Strong technical and team leader skills
Ability to empower and motivate people
Ansys or Patran or Abaqus or Hyperworks Experience
Nice to have:
Catia V5 experience
Solid Edge Experience
Language: French
Design and GD&T experience will be considered a plus
Knowledge of design and operation of aircraft engines
