The Financial Analyst Staff analyzes complex financial data, creates financial models, forecasts performance, and provides strategic recommendations to enhance a company's financial health. Their expertise includes understanding accounting principles, business operations, and industry trends to inform decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Financial Modeling & Forecasting: Build and maintain financial models for projecting revenue, expenses, and profitability, including quarterly and annual forecasts.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial statements, identify trends and KPIs, and create comprehensive financial reports.
• Budget Management: Assist in developing and managing annual budgets with cost analysis and allocation.
• Investment Evaluation: Evaluate investment opportunities and assess risks and returns.
• Cost Optimization: Identify areas for cost-saving and implement efficiency strategies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Provide financial insights to support decision-making across departments.
• Industry Research: Conduct industry comparisons and research best practices.
• Communication: Present complex financial information to senior leadership clearly and effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, statistical methods, and financial statement analysis. Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience with SAP knowledge.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and meet ITAR regulations.
• Location: Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius, as no relocation is provided.
