We are looking for a global legal intern for a 6 month internship.

Job Description :

You will join the Global Legal team at the headquarters of Opella, which provides legal support to all the teams.

As part of this team, you will more particularly work with and under the supervision of two senior lawyers in their respective scopes of responsibility:

Corporate and Partnering, including licensing agreements negotiation and drafting, other business development or divestment transactions and management of any type of post-closing issues in relation to the licensing or divestments transactions; Industrial Affairs,  focusing on the review, drafting, negotiation and implementation follow-up of operational contracts for the production of drugs as well as the operation of manufacturing and logistics industrial sites

Specifically, your internship will consist of:

  • Contributing to the drafting/review and audit of any type of contractual document, including analyzing and interpreting existing contracts to ascertain the company’s rights and obligations in order to enforce them if necessary
  • Carrying out research, drafting summary notes and developing legal analysis in various fields (Contract law, Competition Law, etc.);
  • Contributing to the drafting of presentation/training materials for internal teams;
  • As part of the implementation team of industrial projects, be in charge of deployment of follow-up actions (drafting of legal documents such as notice letters, risk analysis, etc) and reporting to business teams on the progress of implementation
  • Knowledge and abilities:
  • You are student in Master 2 in Law or Bar student (Elève-avocat) preparing for the final Bar Exam (CAPA)
  • You are studying fundamentals in private law (including contract law and business law, etc.)
  • You have very good interpersonal communication skills – enjoying teamwork
  • You are attention to details and you are used to work with deadlines.
  • You are reactiv, curious about the company and the pharmaceutical industry in general.
  • You have previous successful internship experience in a company or law firm, ideally.
  • You are fluent in oral and written English.
  • Duration of the Internship : 6 months, on July 1st, 2025.
  • Location : Neuilly sur Seine (Ile-de-France)
  • Type of contract : Full-time internship (intern will be offered to sign a “convention de stage” with our company)
