The Head of Corporate Brand & Reputation is the guardian and architect of the Sanofi corporate brand, visual identity, tone of voice and reputation.
Launched a little over three years now, our Sanofi brand is a representation of Sanofi's Purpose and Ambition. Inspired by our Play to Win strategy, it brings together all Sanofi Global Business Units and Global Support Functions as one team united by one visual identity and tone of voice. The objective is to increase the impact of our brand over time, while championing its role as a key driver of the wider organization’s business performance.
The Head of Corporate Brand & Reputation owns the Sanofi brand strategy, its execution and its day-to-day management, ensuring it continues to be brought to life in the best possible way, both within the organization and with external stakeholders.
This position is based in Gentilly, France, and reports to the Head of Brand & Content.
Main responsibilities:
Strategic brand management and development (brand’s creative territory and evolution, its verbal and visual expression, where we should go next in terms of brand positioning, development of new assets, improvement of what exists, etc.)
Day-to-day brand management (brand helpdesk requests, brand portal management, management of internal stakeholders, accompanying Sanofians with everything related to brand (constant education, timely informing on the updates and new guidelines and assets released, alignment on critical topics with key stakeholders (e.g. Employee Resource Groups/ Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Culture, Digital, Workplace Experience, Employer Brand, etc.)
Brand measurement and reputation:
run bi-annual reputation survey generating insights feeding Brand and Content overall strategy and Country Comms plans;
measure quality of brand application and of understanding the guidelines;
evaluate progress through corporate brand and purpose-related questions as part of our company annual Your Voice Survey and by building strong action plan around the results.
Team management and development:
About you
Experience working on product/brand management; corporate brand management or corporate reputation experience preferred
Understanding of the pharmaceutical, vaccines and healthcare industries
Direct line management experience
Strong communication skills and track record of high energy, effective and influential presentations, delivering complex messages to external and internal customers, including Senior Leadership
Strong track record of project and process management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize
Strong interpersonal, oral and written skills and the ability to interact professionally and represent Sanofi
Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate customer needs (internal and/or external)
Well-versed in core marketing principles and able to conceptualize and articulate a vision for the brand that energizes all functional areas and stakeholders
Experience working at a top tier brand, brand agency, or advertising agency
Comfortable managing complex projects/programs across a global matrix organization
Proven team player with ability to navigate cross-functionally
Demonstrated analytical skills
Passionate and confident in team environment
Experience in leading direct line managed and extended/working teams
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications or Marketing
English fluency is required
