Within the Industrial Automation Business Unit, the Control & Signaling activity, located in 2 sites in France & Singapore, is taking care of several electromechanical components used in industrial machinery. Your role :You will take responsibility for sustainable development projects for C&S offerings. You will be responsible for achieving project objectives in terms of customer satisfaction and quality, time-to-market, development expenditure and product costs, in order to ensure that the profitability target is met for all assigned projects in the Control and Signalling (C&S) business. Functionally, you will manage international teams, working in all areas involved in the process of creating offers: marketing, design (mechanical, electronic, firmware, software), laboratory, advanced manufacturing, quality, factories and purchasing, etc.You will be the main interface with (international) partners and the legal department for projects involving 'labelled' offers.You will be based in Angoulême, France, and will report to the Project Management Officer (PMO) for the C&S business.Your main missions :
- Be customer and business focused, defining the vision with project stakeholders.
- Manage the development of all project activities from inception to close, covering the scope of all functions.
- Together with the project team, draw up the project management plan and keep it up to date throughout the project. To adapt the project plan in line with the project's objectives, looking for opportunities for efficiency.
- Defining and managing the project budget, resources and schedule.
- Organise, lead and motivate the project team and synchronise it with other teams.
- Encourage functions to take ownership of the project objectives.
- Leading the decision-making process at project level and at the right time
- Apply risk management techniques to identify risks and issues, and implement effective risk response plans.
- Manage overall project planning, organise arbitration and, in the event of deviations, propose and implement corrective measures.
Your profile: Minimum of 3 years' higher education in electromechanical, electrical or electronic engineering with at least 5 years' experience in project management of electromechanical and/or electronic products
Your competences: - Knowledge of industrial products
- Ability to develop and understand profitability and risk analyses
- Familiarity with financial basics
- Strong organisational, negotiation and team-building skills
- Good leadership skills
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to communicate, influence and work collaboratively in a multicultural environment
